Job Description

We are looking for a full time Earthwork Heavy Equipment Operator. Our company is a growing small to mid size construction company that handles heavy civil utilities/ mass excavation/ grading/ and demolition. Our office is based in Wheat Ridge and our construction projects are throughout the Denver Metro and Surrounding Areas. We are a hard-working company and pride ourselves in our work that we provide to our clients.
Traits we are looking for:
  • Heavy Equipment Operation Experience (2 year Preferred)
  • Experience in mass excavation/ grading/ and demolition construction (Preferred)
  • Ability to operate and maintain various types of earth moving and general construction equipment.
  • Ensure that maintenance and inspections are performed and that machines are kept in a safe and clean running order.
  • Ability to operate and maintain various types of equipment installing utility pipe to include water, storm sewer, and sanitary sewer
  • Ability to be given lists and need minimal to no oversites to accomplish your tasks
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks at any given point in time smoothly and efficiently
  • Ability to read, understand plans and offset grades, read grade stakes, and to work in both tenths and inches.
  • Distinguish between soil types, and understand density moisture content.
  • Backfill sidewalks, curbs, and gutters
  • MAINTAIN CONTROL OF EQUIPMENT, BE AWARE OF ENVIRONMENT/ SURROUNDS, AND OPERATE IN SAFE MANNER AT ALL TIMES!

  • Possesses a strong attention to detail and the ability to learn new concepts quickly
