Manage and assist in completion of safe installation and removal of sound control materials by hand, use of and/or directing machinery including but not limited to skid steers, extended reach forklifts, and cranes. Measure/create gate per customer specifications using sound control material. Measure and installing custom panels and SK product line. Install and remove sound control material on/off from shoring mounted sleeves. Complete bill of lading for shipments and calculate load weight. Layout soundwall plan Complete required paperwork including daily field tickets (DFT), job hazard analysis (JSA), and daily equipment inspection in ERP system. Contact machine rental company to schedule pick up of equipment as soon as job is completed. Train, mentor and coach employees, along with managing field portion of SSE assessment and re-training as needed. Provide feedback to management regarding employee performance for annual reviews, SSE progress and grading, and assist in conflict resolution. Conduct tailgate health & safety meetings. Identify utilities, verify line locate clears and assess for any overlooked or mismarked utilities, inform crew and modify layout plan as needed. Point of contact with customer while on site. Communicate with leadership regarding project status, issues, etc. as needed, but at least once per day. Stack sound control materials by hand. Operate various hand tools during sound wall installation. Assist in site preparation including manual digging/trenching. Assist in site cleanup. Assist in the building and refurbishment of sound control materials. Assist with miscellaneous yard work as requested Up to 50% travel as necessary. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Experience operating, heavy equipment, such as fork lifts, skid steers and boom lifts Valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record/ eligibility to be on the Company's insurance policy.
Pay:
$25.00 - $28.00 per hour
