Job Opportunity:
Mine Process Production Crew Location:
Ouray, Colorado (Local Residents Only)
Position:
Full-time Thorin Resources, LLC is seeking motivated, reliable, and safety-minded individuals to join our Mine Process Production Crew in Ouray.
Note:
This position is intended for candidates residing in the Montrose/Ouray area. Relocation assistance, travel allowance, and per diem are not available. Role Overview This position supports mine process production and general site operations. Experience with heavy equipment is a strong plus, but we are willing to train candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety. Key Responsibilities Follow instructions and complete tasks independently once trained Use hand and power tools safely and effectively Support the flow of materials throughout the production circuit Assist with processing operations and QA/QC procedures Follow operational procedures under direction of the Mine Superintendent Basic Qualifications Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to pass a physical exam and meet MSHA certification requirements (training provided) Comfortable working at high elevations (10,000 ft+), outdoors, and in physically demanding conditions Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and navigate uneven terrain and elevated work areas Strong work ethic, communication skills, and ability to work on a team High school diploma or equivalent Preferred / Nice-to-Have Qualifications (Not required — candidates without these are still encouraged to apply) Experience operating heavy equipment (loaders, excavators, dozers, or similar) Background in mining, construction, or industrial environments CDL (Commercial Driver's License), with HazMat endorsement a plus Previous MSHA Part 48 certification Mechanical or equipment maintenance experience Work Environment & Safety This role involves both indoor and outdoor work, including exposure to variable weather, dust, and vibration. Safety is a top priority, and all employees are expected to follow site safety protocols and wear required PPE.
Compensation & Benefits Pay:
