Immediate Openings Full Job Description We are seeking experienced and safety-focused Heavy Equipment Operators with verified field experience in underground utility installations and precision excavation to join our team for active construction projects across Southeast Florida.
Required Specific Experience:
Candidates must possess verifiable experience in:
Excavation & Trenching:
Precision trenching for pipe and utility installations.
Trench Box Operation:
Safe handling, placement, and operation within shoring/trench protection systems. Hydraulic Breakers /
Hammers:
Concrete, rock, and hard surface demolition.
Underground Utilities:
Safe digging and maneuvering around existing utilities (water, sewer, electric).
Grading:
Precise rough and fine grading to blueprint specifications.
Core Equipment Competency:
Excavators Bulldozers Skid Steers Forklifts & Telehandlers Boom Lifts Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate assigned machinery to match exact site blueprint grades and elevations. Complete mandatory daily pre-operation inspections, fluid checks, daily equipment greasing, and report mechanical issues promptly. Maintain clear communication with ground crews, pipe layers, and spotters via hand signals or multi-channel radios. Strictly enforce OSHA standards and company safety protocols.
Qualifications & Experience:
Experience:
5+ years of verified on-site field experience operating heavy machinery on civil/underground utility projects.
Certifications:
Active OSHA 10 Construction card required prior to starting.
Language:
Bilingual in English & Spanish is strongly preferred.
License:
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites.
Pay:
$30.00 - $35.00 per hour People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply
