Job Summary Join our dynamic construction team as a Heavy Equipment Operator and play a vital role in executing large-scale infrastructure and building projects. Duties Operate heavy construction machinery such as bulldozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, cranes, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, and tanker trucks to perform earthmoving, lifting, and material transportation tasks. Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on equipment like Caterpillar machinery and other construction machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Follow all safety regulations and occupational safety standards while operating equipment to prevent accidents and injuries on site. Assist with concrete mixing operations and support construction activities involving concrete placement and related tasks. Use personal protective equipment (PPE) properly at all times to safeguard yourself and colleagues during operations. Coordinate with team members to execute site plans efficiently while adhering to project timelines. Maintain detailed logs of equipment usage, inspections, and maintenance activities for accountability and regulatory compliance. Requirements Proven construction site experience with heavy equipment operation in diverse environments. Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot basic issues with machinery such as loaders, dozers, excavators, cranes, and farm machinery. Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with experience operating front loader trucks, dump trucks, water trucks, roll-off trucks, or tanker trucks. Hands-on experience operating cranes like tower or mobile cranes safely within construction settings. Familiarity with construction machinery maintenance routines and safety regulations governing heavy equipment use. Ability to operate various construction machinery including backhoes, bulldozers (dozers), loaders (front loaders), excavators, and specialized farm or tanker equipment. Knowledge of occupational safety regulation compliance to ensure a safe work environment for all team members. Strong understanding of construction processes involving concrete mixers and other materials handling equipment. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members on-site.
