In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tow trucks to assist stranded or disabled vehicles, ensuring prompt and professional service to our customers. Your energetic approach and mechanical aptitude will help you excel in a fast-paced environment, providing top-notch customer service while maintaining safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering reliable roadside assistance and vehicle recovery services. Responsibilities Operate light-duty tow trucks, including flatbed and traditional tow trucks, to recover and transport vehicles efficiently and safely Load, unload, and secure vehicles using appropriate equipment such as straps, chains, or dollies Conduct basic automotive diagnostics and mechanical assessments to determine the best recovery method Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, explaining procedures, and addressing concerns professionally Maintain accurate records of all tow jobs, including details of vehicle condition, location, and services performed Follow all safety protocols during vehicle recovery operations to prevent accidents or injuries Assist with other tasks such as forklift operation or minor automotive repairs when needed Requirements Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and experience operating tow trucks Mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive diagnostics and repair Familiarity with manual transmissions and automotive systems Prior experience in commercial driving or roadside assistance is preferred Ability to load & unload vehicles safely using appropriate equipment Strong conflict management skills to handle challenging situations professionally Mechanic experience or familiarity with automotive repair tools is a plus Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and adherence to traffic laws Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift heavy objects when necessary Join us if you're passionate about driving, vehicle recovery, and delivering exceptional customer service!
