Competitive salary based on experience Pyramid Excavation, located in Havana Florida, is currently seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our construction team for projects in the Tallahassee and surrounding areas. Experience loading dump trucks in pits and excavation areas a must . Job Responsibilities Operate heavy earth-moving equipment for underground utility installation and site development projects. Safely and efficiently operate equipment such as: Skid steer Backhoe Dozer Excavator Grader Roller Other heavy construction equipment as needed Perform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns. Required Qualifications Minimum 3 years of heavy equipment operating experience. Proven experience operating earth-moving equipment. Experience loading dump trucks in pits and excavation areas . Experience with excavation for underground utilities. Basic understanding of grades, slopes, project layout, and construction sequencing. Must have reliable transportation.
