Job Description
A construction company is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators and some General Labor for the civil/site development phase of a utility-scale solar project in Indiantown, FL . ✅ Projects scheduled to begin the first week of April — immediate hiring underway. This position supports large-scale earthwork and site preparation activities prior to solar installation. Operators must be safety-focused, reliable, and experienced working on active civil construction sites. Equipment Operation Loader Excavator Dozer Haul Truck Roller / Compactor Civil Scope of Work Clearing & Grubbing Vegetation piling & burning Demolition Topsoil stripping and re-spreading Site cut/fill to solar tracker tolerance Access road construction Site drainage installation General earthmoving and grading operations Requirements 5+ years heavy equipment operating experience (Required) Civil construction or site development experience preferred Valid Driver's License required Heavy Equipment Operator certifications will be required Ability to pass drug screening, criminal background check, and MVR check Must be hardworking and self-motivated Reliable transportation required Willing to travel if needed Benefits (After 90 Days) ✅ Company-paid Health, Dental & Vision Insurance ✅ Company-paid Short & Long-Term Disability + Life Insurance ✅ $320.83/month Company HSA contribution ✅ 401(k) with 50% company match up to $400/month Job Type Full-Time Outdoor construction environment
