- Leverman Immediate Position available for a Dredge Operator.
This Position:
$25.00 to $30.00. This is based on previous work experience, skills, and current certifications / professional licenses. Responsibilities forThe Dredge Operator:
Operating and maintaining the hydraulic dredge Completion of Daily Dredge and Maintenance Log MUST be motivated and able to work independently Be able to communicate well with the superintendent, boat operators, dredge engineer and deck hands Assist in Mobilizations/Demobilizations as needed Duties will include cleaning equipment, check fluids and grease daily Position will include some miscellaneous laborer Position will require out of town (Florida) travel for extended periods Requirements forThe Dredge Operator:
MUST have 5 + years plus in dredge operation experience Must maintain a valid Driver's license Experienced in Marine Construction Heavy equipment experience a plus OSHA Certifications a plus Boating or Equipment Certifications a plus Must be able to work outside for entire shift in all weather conditions (hot, humid, cold, wet) required Be honest, hardworking, reliable, punctual and attitude to get the job done Physical Demands/Work Environment forThe Dredge Operator:
Physical/Sensory Functions:
Regularly will use sit, use hands, talk/hear; Frequently will reach with hands; Occasionally will stand, walk, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, taste/smell. Lift and/orMove Functions:
