The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated capability to operate a 30 or 50 Ton Wrecker. A plus would be the ability to also run equipment transport calls. This role requires excellent customer service skills and a commitment to safety on the road. Duties Safely operate and drive trucks to transport goods to designated locations. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance. Load and unload cargo efficiently while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times. Provide exceptional customer service during pickups and deliveries, addressing any concerns or questions from clients. Utilize conflict management skills to handle any issues that may arise during transport or at delivery sites. Conduct basic automotive diagnostics and repairs as needed, leveraging mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues on the road. Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and regulations while maintaining a clean driving record. Requirements Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Experience in commercial driving, particularly with flatbed trucks or tow trucks. Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair preferred. Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles is a plus. Ability to manage conflicts effectively and provide outstanding customer service. Experience with automotive diagnostics is beneficial. Physical ability to lift heavy loads and perform manual tasks associated with loading/unloading cargo. Flexibility to work varying hours as needed based on delivery schedules.
