Job Title:
Finish Grade Dozer Operator Pay Rate:
$24 per hour
Schedule:
7:00 am - 4:00 pm
Monday-Friday Job Summary:
We are currently hiring for 2 experienced Finish Grade Dozer Operators in Sarasota, FL. This role requires precision operating skills for fine grading on construction sites. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in site development, finish grading, and operating heavy equipment efficiently and safely.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate a dozer for finish grading work , maintaining specified grade tolerances Follow site plans and instructions from supervisors to achieve desired contours and elevations Conduct daily inspections of equipment to ensure safe and proper operation Work closely with site supervisors and crew to coordinate grading and prep work Maintain a clean and safe job site, adhering to all safety standards and procedures Identify and report any hazards, equipment issues, or safety concerns promptly
Requirements:
1+ year of dozer operating experience , specifically in finish grading Ability to read grade stakes and interpret site plans Strong attention to detail and precision in grading work Reliable transportation Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
Preferred:
Experience with GPS-enabled equipment (Trimble or similar) TDK6000
Pay:
$24.00 per hour
