Heavy Equipment Operator / Class A CDL Driver Florida Earthworx is looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator with a Class A CDL to join our crew. This position is for someone who is comfortable operating equipment independently and performing a variety of sitework and demolition projects throughout the State of Florida. Applicants must be willing and able to work out of town and travel for projects as needed. We are looking for an operator with strong skid steer and excavator experience who can grade, excavate, load trucks, move materials, and complete jobs efficiently and safely.

Typical work includes:

Residential and commercial demolition House pad construction Rough and final grading Excavation and dirt work Drainage and site preparation Backfilling and compaction Loading trucks and hauling debris/materials Operating skid steers, excavators, and other construction equipment Loading, securing, and transporting equipment between jobsites Jobsite cleanup and restoration Basic daily equipment inspections and maintenance

Requirements:

Valid Class A CDL Strong skid steer experience Strong excavator experience Experience with rough and final grading Experience building house pads preferred Comfortable hauling equipment and towing heavy trailers Ability to follow elevations, plans, and jobsite instructions Must be dependable and able to work independently Must take care of company equipment Must be willing to travel and work out of town throughout Florida Overnight stays may be required depending on the project Experience with demolition, underground utilities, drainage, laser grading, GPS grading, or site development is a plus. This is a full-time position with Florida Earthworx. Pay will be based on experience, CDL qualifications, and operating ability. We are looking for someone dependable who can become a long-term member of the crew and handle jobs without constant supervision.

Pay:

$25.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
