Pole Setter, Horizontal Drilling, & Underground Utility

In this role, you will be responsible for setting poles, operating horizontal drilling equipment, and installing underground utilities with precision and safety. Responsibilities Operate heavy construction equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, and Caterpillar machinery to support pole setting and underground utility installation projects. Use horizontal drilling techniques to install underground utilities efficiently while minimizing surface disruption. Set poles accurately according to project specifications using appropriate tools and safety procedures. Assist with site preparation, including excavation, grading, and material handling to ensure a stable foundation for utility installation. Conduct routine inspections of equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers, and water trucks to maintain optimal performance and safety standards. Collaborate with team members to coordinate tasks on construction sites, ensuring timely project completion while adhering to safety regulations. Follow all safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation, construction site management, and underground utility installation to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment. Experience Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, and Caterpillar equipment in a construction setting. Familiarity with horizontal drilling techniques for underground utility installation is highly desirable. Strong mechanical knowledge related to construction equipment maintenance and troubleshooting. Prior experience working on construction sites involving utility infrastructure projects or similar environments. Valid commercial driver's license with clean driving record for operating various vehicles including tanker trucks and water trucks is preferred. Requirements:

Heavy equipment operating experience CDL Class A license Ability to tow trailers and transport equipment safely. Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions Dependable attendance and strong work ethic
