Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and skilled Heavy Duty Tow Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing roadside assistance, towing larger vehicles, and executing recoveries on all types of vehicles. This role requires a strong understanding of the towing industry, a CDL, no felonies , and overall professionalism.

Monday thru
Friday:
8am - 6pm

MUST LIVE CLOSE ENOUGH TO ONE OF OUR FACILITIES OR HAVE THE ABILITY TO DRIVE A TRUCK HOME

Pay Rate:
Pay is based on experience and is up for conversation during the interview, starting at $22 and ranges upwards. Pay is time and a half over first 40 hours. We are not a commission based company. You are guaranteed 50 hours with this position. Duties Operate tow trucks safely and efficiently, including automatic and manual vehicles. Load and unload vehicles with precision, ensuring minimal risk of damage. Provide roadside assistance, including jump-starts, tire changes, and fuel delivery. Communicate effectively with clients to assess their needs and provide timely support. Manage conflicts professionally while maintaining a calm demeanor in stressful situations. Conduct routine inspections of tow trucks to ensure they are in safe working condition. Maintain accurate records of services rendered and vehicle conditions. Collaborate with dispatchers to respond promptly to service calls. Qualifications Valid commercial driving license (CDL) is required as well as 2 years of towing experience. Ability to drive various types of tow trucks Must be physically fit to perform tasks that involve lifting and moving heavy objects. Excellent attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols. A positive attitude and willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
