Experienced Heavy Equipment Operator - Underground Utilities / Grading We are seeking experienced heavy equipment operators with a strong background in underground utilities, grading, and heavy civil construction . This is not an entry-level position . We are not hiring green operators. Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years of verifiable experience working on a grading or underground utility installation crew. Minimum Requirements Minimum 5+ years of heavy equipment operating experience Proven experience working on grading and/or underground utility crews Experience installing: Water Sewer Storm drainage Experience operating multiple pieces of heavy equipment, including: Excavators Dozers Haul trucks Rollers Other heavy civil construction equipment Proven experience working in rock cuts and difficult excavation conditions GPS grading experience required Topcon GPS experience preferred Ability to read grades, understand elevations, and work efficiently with field layout Strong understanding of jobsite safety, production, and equipment care Ability to work effectively as part of a pipe or grading crew Willing and able to assist with labor and other field work when needed Responsibilities Safely and efficiently operate heavy construction equipment Perform grading, excavation, backfill, compaction, and material-handling operations Assist with water, sewer, and storm drain installation Work from grade stakes, GPS, plans, and field direction Maintain required slopes, elevations, and tolerances Perform daily equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety issues Assist pipe crews, grading crews, and laborers as required Maintain safe working conditions around personnel, utilities, traffic, and other equipment Follow company safety procedures and production expectations Protect and properly maintain company equipment Benefits Medical insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance 401(k) with generous employer match Holiday pay Vacation pay High-Priority Hiring Locations Woodstock Cumming Tucker Pre-Employment Requirements Applicants must complete all required pre-screening steps to be considered.
