Job Description
Heavy Equipment Operator Augusta, GA Join our team as a Heavy Equipment Operator in Augusta, GA. We are seeking motivated individuals with prior mobile equipment experience who can contribute to our dynamic workforce. Individuals with a stable work history and a commitment to producing quality products are encouraged to apply. Requirements of Machine Operators High School Diploma or GED Equivalent 2 years of recent mobile equipment experience Able to lift 50 lbs repetitively Able to stand for long periods Stable work history Must be able to understand and respond to various notifications, both visual and audible, unless otherwise stated by the client Successful Candidates Proven demonstration of day-to-day operations in operational logistics (preferably warehouse management) Committed to quality and accuracy in performing assigned tasks, Accustomed to working in shifts Focused on safety and environmental topics Responsibilities Working in a fixed shift in operating heavy mobile equipment such as forklifts, wheel loaders, and excavators while maximizing efficiency, balancing costs, and setting quality benchmarks. Taking care of daily warehouse duties, such as loading and unloading trucks or other vehicles, blending materials, pulling orders, labeling goods received and inspecting products before shipping Responsible for operating heavy mobile equipment in a professionally and technically correct way with a focus on costs, quality, and efficiency Execution, as well as continuous optimization of workflows within material handling with a focus on recycling raw materials for non-ferrous metallurgy All other duties as assigned #HTIAUG2
