Job Description

Job Description Outback Forestry is hiring an Experienced Lowboy Driver to move heavy equipment between job sites across West Georgia and surrounding areas (2hr radius). This role is critical to keeping our operations moving. You'll be responsible for safely loading, securing, transporting, and unloading equipment while maintaining compliance and taking pride in your truck. If you know how to handle iron and understand the responsibility that comes with it, we want to talk. What You'll Do Safely load and unload heavy equipment (excavators, dozers, grinders, etc.) Secure loads properly and ensure DOT compliance at all times Transport equipment to and from job sites in a timely manner Perform daily inspections and maintain accurate logs Communicate with operations team on scheduling and site needs Keep truck and trailer clean and well-maintained Requirements Valid Class A CDL Experience hauling heavy equipment (lowboy experience required) Strong understanding of load securement and DOT regulations Clean driving record Ability to operate heavy equipment for loading/unloading preferred Dependable, safety-focused, and takes pride in their work What We Offer 90 Day Sign On Bonus Competitive pay (based on experience) Well-maintained truck and trailer DOT-compliant operation Home on weekends Paid holidays PTO 401(k) Why Outback Forestry We're a team that takes pride in doing things the right way.
