Job Description

The Loader Operator is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a front-end loader (or similar heavy equipment) to move raw materials such as sand, gravel, and crushed stone into bins, hoppers, or trucks to support concrete batching and delivery operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate frontend loader to transport and load aggregates into the batch plant. Maintain correct stockpiles of materials (sand, gravel, cement, fly ash, etc.). Ensure consistent feed of materials for concrete production. Perform daily inspections on plant maintenance o Plant is greased. All rollers are working and in good condition. o Belts are aligned. Check oil levels. o Compressor belts are in good working condition. Perform daily equipment inspections, fueling, and minor maintenance. o Tractors to be greased, fluid levels checked and maintained. Filters are clean and changed. Keep work area, plant yard, and stockpiles organized and free of hazards. Assist with plant cleanup, including shoveling spilled material and washing down areas. o Plant and slump rack are clean and build up removed. All trash containers are empty and put out for pick up. o Pits to be cleaned daily, and the loader must be washed afterwards. Communicate with batch plant operator and truck drivers to ensure smooth production. Follow all safety policies, including PPE use and traffic flow rules in the yard.
Qualifications:
Experience operating loaders, skid steers, or similar equipment. Knowledge of aggregate materials and concrete production (preferred). Basic mechanical skills for maintenance (Plant and Equipment). Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and physical environments. Safetyconscious mindset.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 50+ lbs occasionally. Prolonged periods of standing, walking, climbing, and operating equipment. Comfortable in dusty, noisy environments.
