Heavy Equipment Operator

Overview Hinton Landworks is hiring an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our excavation and sitework division. We are not looking for someone who occasionally runs equipment. We are looking for a skilled operator who can produce clean, accurate, professional work. What You'll Do Operate excavators (primary), skid steers, loaders, compactors, and other equipment Dig footings, trenches, and foundations Perform grading and final grade work Install storm, water, and sewer utilities Build driveways and prep pads Load trucks and manage materials efficiently Work around structures, utilities, and tight access sites Maintain equipment and perform daily inspections What We Expect 3-5+ years of full-time equipment operation Ability to read grade stakes and use a laser Ability to dig to grade cleanly without overcutting Understanding of slopes, drainage, and compaction Safe trenching practices Mechanical awareness of your machine Professional appearance and attitude No drama. No babysitting. If you can't cut a clean trench or shape grade properly, this is not the job for you.
