We are seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to become a part of our team! Our focus is on new and existing road construction and repair, including grading, piping, asphalt paving, and concrete structures in both the public and private sectors.

Experience:

Heavy equipment operation: 1 year

Responsibilities:

Heavy Equipment Operator's primary function is to operate heavy equipment, including Skid-steer, Rubber tire loader, Excavators, Bulldozers, Motor Grader, etc., to help with all aspects of the grading operation. Equipment operators are also expected to assist in the general operation of each job site. The position consists of but is not limited to the following duties: Operate equipment in a safe and productive manner Works with the crew to load trucks, dig trenches, and ensure slopes are on grade Ensure maintenance and inspection equipment is performed May oil, grease, service and make normal operating adjustments to equipment. May perform other related duties such as shovel work or setting string line Maintain a clean job site - pick up all tools and equipment and secure job site(s) each day to eliminate potential hazards. Perform materials handling and storage. Load/unloads trucks and haul materials. Loading and unloading of materials;

Qualifications:

Previous experience operating heavy equipment Strong work ethic Ability to handle physical workload Valid driver's license Full time + hours Able to work nights and weekends when required
