Aggregates Equipment Operator About Us Heidelberg Materials is one of the world's largest suppliers of building materials. Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. What You'll Be Doing Safely operate heavy equipment such as loaders, haul trucks, excavators, or similar machinery. Perform routine equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenance. Support production by moving materials efficiently and accurately. Follow site safety procedures and contribute to a safe working environment. Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate daily operations. What Are We Looking For Proven ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently. Strong situational awareness and commitment to safety practices. Capability to perform equipment inspections and identify potential issues. Ability to follow instructions, work collaboratively, and adapt to changing priorities. Comfortable working in fast‑paced industrial or outdoor environments. Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing. Work Environment Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
