EQUIPMENT OPERATOR

for Madison County Secondary Road Department.

Requirements:

Possess a Class "A" Commercial Driver's License, and pre-employment drug testing. Must have knowledge of construction practices and various equipment and tools needed for construction. Medium to heavy equipment and physical construction experience required. The starting wage is $30.38 per hour with a $0.25 increase per hour after 90 days. Longevity pay for every completed year of service. Paid leave time package is included with employment. Medical & life benefits included. IPERS retirement package. Great working hours. Normal hours are five (5), 8-hour days, Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. Summer hours are four (4), 10-hours days, Monday through Thursday 6:00 am to 4:30 pm.
