Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled CDL/Heavy Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of construction machinery and heavy equipment to ensure efficient and safe project execution. Your expertise will help drive construction progress, maintain equipment, and uphold safety standards on busy job sites. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilizing your mechanical knowledge and construction experience to make a tangible impact. Duties Safely operate heavy machinery including excavators, loaders, water trucks, and other construction equipment to perform excavation, grading, utility work, and site preparation tasks Conduct routine maintenance and inspections of construction machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance Assist with construction utility locating to identify underground utilities before excavation or installation work begins Follow federal construction safety regulations and equipment safety procedures diligently to maintain a safe work environment Support construction site activities by performing general utility work, site cleanup, and assisting with material handling as needed Collaborate with team members to execute precise grading and excavation tasks according to project specifications Maintain detailed records of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and safety inspections Requirements Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record for commercial truck driving responsibilities Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery such as excavators, loaders, Caterpillar equipment, and water trucks Mechanical knowledge related to construction machinery maintenance and troubleshooting Familiarity with federal construction safety regulations and adherence to safety regulations at all times Construction site experience with a focus on utility work, excavation, grading, and general construction operations Ability to perform routine equipment maintenance and identify mechanical issues promptly Strong understanding of construction safety procedures and equipment safety protocols Physical ability to operate heavy machinery for extended periods and perform manual tasks as required Join our team if you're ready to bring energy, precision, and dedication to every project!
