Excavator Operator - Residential Utility InstallationOverview Pro Excavation, LLC is looking for an experienced Excavator Operator to join our team performing utility installation for new residential construction throughout the Treasure Valley and surrounding areas. This position is primarily focused on operating an excavator for underground utility work, including excavation, trenching, backfilling, grading, and related site work. We are looking for someone who is dependable, safety-conscious, productive, and experienced working around new residential construction. Responsibilities Operate excavators safely and efficiently for residential utility installation. Excavate trenches and work areas for water, sewer, storm drain, power, and other underground utilities. Operate additional equipment when needed, including loaders and water trucks. Work safely around existing utilities, structures, other equipment, and construction personnel. Read jobsite layouts, grades, markings, and utility locations. Perform daily equipment inspections and basic preventative maintenance. Identify equipment issues and report needed repairs. Follow company safety procedures and jobsite safety requirements. Work closely with foremen, laborers, and other operators to complete projects efficiently and on schedule. Maintain a clean and professional jobsite. Qualifications Previous experience operating excavators in a construction environment is required. CDL and commercial driving experience is required. Experience installing underground utilities is strongly preferred. Residential construction experience is preferred. Ability to safely excavate around existing utilities and structures. Good understanding of excavation, trenching, backfilling, and grading practices. Experience with Caterpillar equipment is preferred. Basic mechanical knowledge and ability to perform routine equipment inspections. Ability to work independently and as part of a crew. Dependable, punctual, and able to maintain a productive work pace. Pay:

$28.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
