Job Description :
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Driver with expertise in dump truck operations, pup trailer handling, and equipment operation to join our team. As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for transporting materials, operating dump trucks and pup trailers efficiently, and assisting with equipment and field operations as needed. This position requires a hardworking and motivated individual with a valid CDL license and a proven track record of safe driving practices and willingness to learn new tasks.Responsibilities :
- Safely operate dump trucks and pup trailers to transport materials to and from job sites.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the safe operation of vehicles and equipment.
- Load and unload materials using appropriate equipment and procedures.
- Assist with equipment operation, including but not limited to, skid steers, excavators, and other heavy machinery.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies to ensure safe transportation of materials.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and vehicle maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate job tasks and ensure timely completion of projects.
- Follow all safety procedures and protocols to minimize risks and maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications :
- Valid CDL license with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in truck driving, preferably in dump truck and pup trailer operations.
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as skid steers, excavators, or similar machinery.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations and practices related to truck driving and equipment operation.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
