As a Snow Removal Operator, you will play a vital role in keeping local businesses and residents safe during winter weather by ensuring parking lots, driveways, and walkways remain clear and accessible. This is an excellent opportunity to earn extra income during the winter season while working with a professional team that values safety, quality, and dependability. Responsibilities Operate wheel loaders, skid steers, or salt trucks to remove snow and ice from designated areas Maintain safe and accessible parking lots, driveways, and pathways for customers Respond promptly to snow and ice events, often working overnight and in challenging weather conditions Follow all safety protocols and company procedures while operating equipment Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding site conditions and progress Qualifications Previous experience operating heavy equipment such as wheel loaders, skid steers, or salt trucks Dependable and safety-focused work ethic Reliable transportation and on-call availability during snow events Ability to work long shifts, including overnight hours, during storms Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs as needed Punctuality and strong attendance record Compensation $40.00 per hour Benefits Professional-grade equipment and tools Industry-leading safety programs Flexible, on-call work schedule during snow events Opportunity to work with an experienced and supportive team Offered compensation: $40/hr Experience and License Requirements Heavy Equipment Operation Salt Truck Experience - DOT required (optional) Skid Steer Experience (optional) Wheel Loader Experience (optional)
