Loader Operator Granite City Terminal LLC Granite City, IL Job Details Full-time $15 - $20 an hour 1 hour ago Benefits Paid holidays Health insurance Paid time off Life insurance Paid sick time Qualifications Forklift Shovels Loader operation Manual handling Skid steer loader Full Job Description General Laborer/ Heavy Equipment Operator/No Experience Needed but Helpful Granite City Terminal is a small company that has had employees working here for decades and would love for you to join us. This is the perfect position for someone that has wanted to become a heavy equipment operator but hasn't been able to find the opportunity. We will train you to load product onto semis using a front-end loader. We use a Bobcat and a forklift on a regular basis too. In the off season we do repairs to equipment, paint, grade roads, get ready for busy season, and general upkeep of the facility. Position Requirements include physical work. Must be able to lift 50 pounds, climb into equipment and shovel when need be. Pre-Employment drug screening is required. Health insurance is offered after 60 days to the employee. (Family is not included) After one year, retirement is offered that matches 1%-3% yearly, paid vacation, paid sick days and paid holidays. Group life insurance is also available. Monday thru Friday are our normal days of operation, but we do work some Saturdays and a few hours after closing time during planting season. During season, overtime is required. Opportunities for overtime in the offseason come up as well if you're looking for a little extra money. Hours are 7am to 4pm.
