Job Description:

The Position:
We're looking for a Lowboy Driver/Equipment Operator for the upcoming 2026 season responsible for splitting time between driving a tractor and trailer (lowboy or flat) to job sites to locate and relocate heavy equipment and materials, and operating various types of construction equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Requirements:
Valid Class A CDL w/ "N" endorsement, current Federal Medical card and satisfactory driving record. Minimum two (2) years of related tractor/trailer driving experience hauling large machinery and material loads. Minimum of three to five years of previous work experience in equipment operation. Experience with various types of heavy equipment (preferred). Some mechanical aptitude, training and/or experience (preferred). Excellent communication skills, ability to work well with others and a working knowledge of all FMCSA regulatory rules. High School diploma or GED equivalent is preferred. Must be punctual and dependable. Have the ability to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends as needed. Be able to tolerate and work in variable weather conditions, and work in dirty and dusty environments. Member of the appropriate trade union or willingness to become a union member are required. Union membership may not be required prior to employment. Our Human Resources Department is able to assist in that process as needed.
