Job Description

Brush Creek Quarry is looking for multiple Heavy Equipment Operators and General Laborers for our limestone production facility in Mode, IL. We are looking for Equipment Operators who can run a Loader, an Excavator, or a Dozer. General Laborer tasks will include driving a haul truck and performing other general labor and maintenance tasks. Other duties may include mechanical/electrical repairs, welding, and other general labor tasks as skills and time allow. The ideal candidate will have experience operating heavy equipment or working in a rock quarry, but we will also consider dedicated candidates who are willing to learn. Experience running heavy equipment preferred Strong work ethic, dependability, and punctuality all required Willingness to learn and follow instructions required Good organizational skills and ability to work well with others Mechanical skills, welding, fabricating, or electrical skills are a plus Experience in the mining industry preferred but not required Strict adherence to MSHA and site-specific safety rules Willingness to work in various environmental/weather conditions, and some exposure to heights Background check, drug test (cannabis included), and fitness for duty test all required before being hired Minimum of high school diploma or GED strongly preferred We offer a competitive compensation plan and an outstanding benefits plan!
