In this energetic role, you will operate heavy-duty wrecker/tow trucks to transport vehicles across various locations, ensuring secure loading and unloading while maintaining excellent communication with clients and team members. Your mechanical knowledge and driving skills will be vital in providing reliable roadside assistance and vehicle recovery services, all while upholding safety standards and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Duties Safely operate heavy-duty wrecker/tow trucks to transport vehicles, including cars, trucks, and machinery, across urban and rural areas. Hooking and un-hooking semi tractors and trailers using proper securing techniques to prevent damage during transit and delivery. Conduct routine inspections of the wrecker/tow truck to ensure mechanical reliability and safety compliance. Manage conflict situations professionally when dealing with distressed customers or challenging roadside scenarios. Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, vehicle conditions, and service details. Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and emergency responders to coordinate timely pickups and deliveries. Qualifications Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record. Proven experience operating heavy-duty wrecker/tow trucks with a strong understanding of vehicle towing procedures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to manage conflict professionally. Familiarity with automotive repair processes, heavy-duty wrecker/tow truck operations, and safety protocols is highly desirable. Work Schedule One position is for day shift, Mondays through Fridays, and alternating Saturdays, One position is for night shift, Mondays through Fridays, and alternating Saturdays. Pay:
$25.00 - $30.00 per hour
