Job Description

EXCAVATOR OPERATOR
Job description: Oak Hill Contractors, LLC is a family-owned, dirt excavating business in the Southern Illinois Region. Oak Hill Contractors, LLC believes in having a team-oriented, family environment while maximizing production and timeliness to enhance positive outcomes for our clients. We specialize in land reclamation, land clearing, revegetation, drain projects, and brush mowing. We contract with coal mines, landfills, quarries, USACE, and many other entities. Position Overview Oak Hill is actively recruiting Experienced Excavator Operators, CAT 323,336,349's, for short- and long-term contract jobs in the Southern Illinois region, throughout the Midwest, and many other areas. This position is an average of 5 months, possibly longer; once completed, potential to stay on and travel. Qualified applicants must have experience operating excavators. Surface coal mining, landfill, or solar panel experience is a plus. Applicants must be self-motivated, safety conscious, and efficient in the areas of production and quality. Surface 50023 MSHA papers highly preferred. Schedule Varying schedule; approximately 10- 12-hour days, 5-6 days per week. Off every Sunday guaranteed.
Pay:
$28.00 - $33.00 per hour
