Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. What You'll Be Doing Operate front-end loaders and heavy equipment to safely move and stockpile materials. Load customer and internal trucks efficiently while maintaining product quality standards. Conduct pre-operational inspections and report equipment maintenance needs. Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas in accordance with company and site procedures. Support plant operations by assisting with production, inventory management, and other assigned tasks. What Are We Looking For Demonstrated ability to safely operate heavy equipment in a production, construction, mining, or industrial environment. Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and following established procedures. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Mechanical aptitude with the capability to identify and communicate equipment concerns. Dependable work ethic with the ability to perform physical tasks and work independently when needed. Conditions of Employment Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing. Work Environment Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level. What We Offer $30.80 per hour. Benefits through the Union for Medical, Dental, Vision and Pension. Union paid vacation, sick leave and holidays.
