We are looking for someone who is dependable, safety-minded, and skilled at operating heavy equipment and performing accurate grading work. Responsibilities Operate track hoes/excavators, loaders, dozers, compactors, blades, and curb machines Perform fine and finish grading with dirt, rock, and other materials Dig, cut, backfill, and compact to proper elevations Read blueprints, grade stakes, and cut/fill elevations Use GPS grading equipment when needed Remove concrete curbs, sidewalks, and pavement Work safely around utilities and other equipment Complete daily equipment inspections Keep equipment and work areas clean and safe Report equipment problems or maintenance needs Follow Foreman instructions and work as part of the crew Qualifications 3+ years of heavy equipment operating experience Civil construction experience preferred Strong grading and equipment operating skills Experience operating heavy equipment and machinery. Ability to read blueprints and elevations GPS grading experience preferred Strong safety awareness Dependable and team-oriented Reliable transportation Must pass a background check and drug screening
