Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and energetic Yard Loader Operator/Yard Help to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently loading, unloading, and organizing materials within the yard, ensuring smooth operations across various construction sites. Your expertise in heavy equipment operation, safety compliance, and construction machinery maintenance will help us maintain a safe, productive environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of construction equipment and contribute to large-scale projects that make a difference. Responsibilities Operate Forklift and loaders to load customer vehicles and trailers safely Load and unload materials such as gravel, dirt, stone, mulch, topsoil and other landscape supplies using appropriate equipment. Perform routine maintenance on construction machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met. Keep yard and material clean and organized at all times Cleaning shop and keep tools organized bagging rock as needed Requirements experience operating Forklift and loader (will train right person) Ability to perform basic mechanical maintenance on machinery to troubleshoot issues and perform minor repairs. Valid driver's license Must pass a drug test Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
