Heavy Equipment Operator We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Alexandria, LA. The ideal candidate will have experience operating skid steers and front-end loaders and be comfortable working in an industrial environment. Experience unloading barges is a strong plus. Responsibilities Safely operate skid steers, front-end loaders, and forklifts Load, unload, move, and store materials throughout the facility Assist with unloading barges as needed Perform daily equipment inspections and report any issues Follow all safety policies and procedures Work at elevated heights when required Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members Maintain a clean and organized work area Support daily operations in a fast-paced environment Qualifications Experience operating skid steers and front-end loaders required Forklift experience preferred Must be comfortable working at heights Experience unloading barges is a plus Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical labor Strong attention to safety and detail Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Preferred Experience Industrial, marine, port, yard, or bulk material handling operations Heavy equipment operation in production or material handling environments Why Join Us?
