We strive to offer our customers quality products, affordable prices, and exemplary service. We are now accepting applications for an Excavator Operator. This is a full-time position, and the candidate must be willing to work weekends and overtime as needed.

Essential Functions:

Operate excavator to feed a horizontal grinder Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and clean, lubricate and refuel equipment Complete daily equipment inspections Communicate with customers and employees Follow all company safety rules and regulations while performing duties

Work Requirements:

Must maintain current driver's license that meets state requirements Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook Ability to work independently and as a member of a team Must have reliable transportation Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age 1-3 years of experience Knowledge/Skill Requirements Knowledge of operating heavy equipment. Knowledge of hazards and safety precautions common to heavy equipment operations and construction sites Ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently under a variety of working conditions Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing Ability to operate heavy and complex equipment requiring skill and the exercise of independent judgment.

Physical Requirements:

Candidates must pass a pre-employment physical and drug/alcohol screening Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs Prolonged periods of sitting (8+ hours) Moderate -High noise levels
