Job Summary:

RYCO Excavating, Inc. is seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating heavy machinery for excavation, grading, and site development. This position requires precision, safety awareness, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, loaders, dozers, and backhoes in accordance with project specifications and safety regulations. Perform site preparation, trenching, grading, and material movement. Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance. Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment. Communicate effectively with site supervisors, team members, and other trades. Interpret site plans, specifications and grade stakes as needed

Qualifications:

Valid 2A Hoisting License. Minimum of Five (5) years of experience operating heavy machinery in excavation, site development, or related work. Strong understanding of excavation techniques and safety protocols. Ability to work in varied weather conditions and perform physical labor as required. Team-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. GPS experience preferred.
