Physical Certification Construction experience Truck loading and unloading Full Job Description Job Summary Civil Construction LLC is seeking experienced CDL Class A Dump Truck Driver / Heavy Equipment Haulers to support our heavy highway and underground utility construction operations in Baltimore, Maryland . The primary responsibility of this position is to safely transport construction materials, heavy equipment, and machinery to and from active jobsites daily. Candidates must have experience operating dump trucks in construction environments and be comfortable loading, securing, transporting, and unloading heavy construction equipment. This position may require both day and night work depending on project needs. Key Responsibilities Safely operate dump trucks and other commercial vehicles in active construction and heavy highway environments. Haul heavy construction equipment and machinery to and from jobsites daily. Load, secure, transport, and unload construction equipment in accordance with DOT requirements and company safety procedures. Transport construction materials, aggregate, soil, debris, and other materials as required. Safely maneuver trucks and trailers in active jobsites, staging areas, tight spaces, and roadway construction zones. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and identify mechanical or safety concerns. Ensure loads are properly positioned, secured, and compliant with applicable weight and securement requirements. Maintain required driver logs, inspection records, tickets, delivery documentation, and other required paperwork. Follow designated routes and coordinate daily hauling requirements with superintendents, foremen, dispatch, and project personnel. Comply with all applicable DOT, FMCSA, Maryland, and company driving and safety requirements. Maintain assigned vehicles and trailers in a clean and safe operating condition. Immediately report vehicle defects, accidents, damage, safety concerns, or violations.

Required Qualifications:

At least 3 years of experience holding CDL-A , moving equipment, and securing cargo. Valid CDL Class A license required. Valid DOT Medical Card required. Clean and acceptable driving record required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience loading and unloading construction equipment from trailers. Spanish speaking is a plus. Compensation Pay will be based on experience, qualifications, and driving experience.
