Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our dynamic construction team as soon as possible. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery to support construction projects, ensuring efficient and safe site operations. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality results while maintaining strict adherence to safety regulations and operational standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge equipment and contribute to impactful infrastructure development. You will be primarily operating an excavator however there will be on the ground labor work involved when needed as well as operation of other equipment on site. Requirements 5+ years of equipment operating experience, specifically excavator. Spanish speaking, fluent preferred, some ability is required. Responsibilities Operate heavy construction machinery, primarily excavators but including loaders, backhoes, skid steers, dump trucks, and other material handling equipment with precision and safety. Driving to job sites, can be a commute anywhere from 15 minutes to 2 hours, no company truck will be provided. Must have a reliable form of transportation. Perform routine maintenance and inspections on construction machinery to ensure optimal performance and longevity. Follow all equipment safety procedures and occupational safety regulations to maintain a secure work environment. Assist in material handling tasks such as loading, unloading, and transporting materials across the site using appropriate machinery. Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage, maintenance activities, and safety checks in compliance with company policies. Collaborate with team members to coordinate the movement of materials and machinery efficiently across the construction site. Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times and adhere to all safety protocols during operations. Labor work including wielding of hand tools such as shovels, sledge hammers, rakes, saws, pick axe and more. Skills 5+ years of heavy equipment operating experience. Spanish speaking is preferred, some Spanish is required. Proven experience operating construction site machinery such as excavator, loaders, backhoes, and dump trucks. Ability to operate hand tools and machinery safely and effectively. Familiarity with construction safety regulations and occupational safety standards. Experience working on construction sites with a focus on safety procedures and equipment maintenance. Ability to perform physical tasks requiring strength and stamina in outdoor environments. Pay:

$28.00 - $33.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 50.0 per week
