Job Description

Heavy-Duty Wrecker Driver We are seeking an experienced Heavy-Duty Wrecker Driver to tow semi-trucks and trailers, including tractor-only, trailer-only, and combination units. Duties and Responsibilities Operate heavy-duty wreckers, tow trucks, flatbeds, forklifts, and other equipment. Safety tow semi-trucks and trailers, both individually and as combination units. Load and unload vehicles and equipment safety and efficiently. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Complete routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance. Assist customer professionally at accident scenes, breakdown locations, and repair facilities. Help identify basic mechanical problems when needed. Secure all vehicles and equipment properly before transportation. Follow company procedures and all applicable DOT and safety regulations. Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment. Experience and Qualifications Previous heavy-duty towing or recovery experience is strongly preferred. Experience towing semi-trucks and trailers is highly preferred. Automotive, diesel-repair, or mechanical experience is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge and basic diagnostic skills. Ability to operate tow trucks, wreckers, flatbeds, forklifts, and related equipment. Excellent driving, communication, and customer-service skills. Ability to work safety and independently. Must be dependable, professional, and able to respond to calls as scheduled. This job description is not exhaustive. Additional responsibilities may be assigned based on business needs.
