Job Description

PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DON'T HAVE 5 YEARS OF GPS DOZER EXPERIENCE POSITION SUMMARY

The primary responsibility of this position is to Operate a diesel-powered, track-driven machine equipped with a front-end blade and GPS used to excavate, spread and grade dirt, stone and other materials. May also be equipped with attachments such as a ripper or pull-behind pan.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

Utilize pedals, levers to control speed and direction of machine Utilize pedals or levers to control height/depth and angle/pitch of bucket Install/change attachments using levers and hand tools (IT machine) Interpret signals, stakes and markings to respect plan specifications Utilize GPS to produce grade requirements Perform daily preventative maintenance such as track cleaning, inspection for damage and fluid check Adhere to all prescribed safety practices and procedures
