The City of Bangor Public Works Department has a new opportunity for On Call Snowplow Operators, needed from approximately October 15th through March 27, 2027, to help provide support for snow removal functions during the 2026/2027 winter season. This is a unique opportunity for those with experience and skills with snow removal during the Maine winters to help your local community! Ideal candidates will possess a CDL and have the ability to legally operate all assigned City of Bangor Public Works Department vehicles and equipment, but some select opportunities may be available for those without a CDL, but who have extensive experience with equipment not requiring a CDL, such as sidewalk machines or operating a pick-up with a plow.
