Gagne & Son is hiring a full-time Heavy Equipment Operator for our block and paver plant in Belgrade. In this hands-on role, you'll operate a loader and other production equipment, help set up and run the block machine, move finished products to the stockyard, and keep production on track. You'll also perform equipment maintenance, assist with repairs, and check product quality throughout the shift. We're looking for someone dependable, safety-minded, mechanically inclined, and ready to learn. Loader experience is required. Role and Responsibilities Operate variety of heavy equipment: front end loader, dump truck, Forklift, Skid steer Complete daily equipment inspections Perform daily maintenance as needed Load dump trucks, trailers and other vehicles Load hoppers and bins for manufacturing Move aggregates Snowplow and removal Back drag and maintain yards Load and unload pallets on trailers using large forklift Follow all safety guidelines Other day-to-day operations as needed Qualifications and Education Requirements Ability and willingness to learn and be trained Safety minded when performing tasks Strong attention to quality and detail Dependable, hard worker, mechanically inclined Experience operating heavy machinery Ability to operate forklift Loader experience required Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. regularly. Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening
