CDL A Full Job Description Position Description:
We're looking for a dependable, safety-focused Heavy Duty Tow Truck Driver to join our team. You'll provide towing and roadside assistance, operate a variety of tow and flatbed trucks, and help customers get safely back on the road. Willing to Train CDL Class A Drivers! What You'll Do Safely operate heavy-duty wreckers, flatbeds, and other assigned vehicles. Tow, load, secure, and transport vehicles and equipment. Provide roadside assistance, including battery and tire services. Complete required pre-trip/post-trip inspections and driver logs. Work closely with Dispatch to plan efficient routes and communicate customer or vehicle issues. Report accidents, incidents, DOT issues, spills, leaks, and vehicle concerns promptly. Keep your truck clean, organized, and properly maintained. Operate safely in traffic, tight spaces, inclement weather, and challenging environments. What You Bring Valid CDL Class A license required with acceptable driving record; Hazmat endorsement a plus! 3+ years of truck driving experience. Strong safety awareness and good customer service skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-stress environment. Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including lifting, pushing, pulling, climbing, and securing loads. Must pass a DOT physical, drug screen, Clearinghouse verification, and 7-year criminal background check. Why Join Us?
