Duties Operate a wide range of construction machinery including dozers, loaders, backhoes, cranes, dump trucks, water trucks, and farm machinery to execute project tasks effectively. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Handle materials efficiently using material handling equipment such as forklifts and front loader trucks to support various construction activities. Follow all safety procedures and occupational safety regulations diligently while using personal protective equipment (PPE). Assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, and material transport to meet project specifications. Maintain accurate logs of equipment operation, maintenance activities, and safety checks for accountability and compliance. Collaborate with team members to coordinate machinery use and ensure smooth workflow on the construction site. Skills Proven experience operating heavy construction machinery including dozers, loaders, backhoes, cranes (including crane operation), and other material handling equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on construction machinery. Familiarity with hydraulics systems, hand tools, and general construction site safety procedures. Valid commercial driver's license with experience in commercial truck driving such as dump trucks or front loader trucks. Knowledge of occupational safety regulations related to heavy equipment operation and construction sites. Ability to interpret technical manuals and operate equipment safely following all safety regulations. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
