Full Job Description Position Description:

The Shipping & Receiving department operates in a fast-paced, heavy-duty environment where employees are responsible for receiving, unloading, staging, loading, and shipping equipment into and out of the facility. The work involves handling large, heavy, and often oversized material-handling and construction equipment received from customers and vendors and preparing that equipment for shipment back to customers. Employees operate a variety of heavy equipment to get the job done, ranging from 3,000-lb electric forklifts to large 15,000-lb-capacity forklifts. The job requires working around and operating equipment such as boom lifts, high-capacity forklifts, excavators, and other large construction and material-handling machines. This is a physically demanding industrial environment that requires employees to work around heavy machinery, large loads, outdoor conditions, uneven surfaces, loading areas, trailers, and constantly moving equipment. Employees must be comfortable working in a hands-on environment where safety, awareness, and proper equipment operation are critical to keeping people, equipment, and shipments moving safely and efficiently.

Standards of Performance:

Pull and pack orders needed for equipment shipment and complete the same in a timely manner. Organized and disciplined, so that warehouse space is kept tidy and equipment is get in an organized manner. Shipments going out pre-staged and prepped ahead of time. Requires punctual and regular attendance. Time away from work is approved and taken in accordance with established policies. Communicative about any issues that arise; team player attitude.

Essential Position Responsibilities:

Responsible to receive all shipments coming into the facility Responsible to ship all equipment leaving the facility Coordinate with internal staff to ensure all neccessary paperwork is completed for shipments going out and coming in. Keep the warehouse shipping spaces organized and clean. Responsible for closing down shipping department and locking up at end of day. Must be familiar with operating large forklifts and/or construction equipment

Pay & Benefits:

$20-23/hr depending on relevant experience. 50% Healthcare premium coverage offered for

7am-5:00pm daily (Mon-Friday)
