Job Description
Gillmann Service is looking for Heavy Equipment Operators for Grand Haven Michigan for a long term project Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, skid steers, loaders, dozers, backhoes, and/or motor graders. Perform excavation, grading, trenching, loading, and site preparation. Safely maneuver equipment around workers, utilities, structures, and other jobsite hazards. Perform daily equipment inspections and report mechanical issues. Complete routine maintenance such as greasing, fueling, and cleaning equipment. Follow project plans, grade specifications, and directions from supervisors. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area. Follow all company and OSHA safety requirements. Assist with general construction duties when equipment operation is not required. Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and be willing to work overtime when needed.
