Grand Rapids Please call us at 865-851-8054 Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, skid steers, loaders, dozers, backhoes, and/or motor graders. Perform excavation, grading, trenching, loading, and site preparation. Safely maneuver equipment around workers, utilities, structures, and other jobsite hazards. Perform daily equipment inspections and report mechanical issues. Complete routine maintenance such as greasing, fueling, and cleaning equipment. Follow project plans, grade specifications, and directions from supervisors. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area. Follow all company and OSHA safety requirements. Assist with general construction duties when equipment operation is not required. Work outdoors in varying weather conditions and be willing to work overtime when needed.

Qualifications:

Previous heavy equipment operating experience preferred. Experience operating excavators, loaders, skid steers, dozers, or similar equipment. Ability to read and understand basic site plans and grade requirements. Strong knowledge of construction site safety. Valid driver's license preferred. Ability to work independently and as part of a crew. Reliable transportation and dependable attendance. Ability to lift, bend, stand, and perform physical labor as required.
