Snow Plow Truck Drivers

VIGH LANDSCAPE MANAGEMENT

at 2851 Three Mile Rd. NW is now hiring Snow Plow Truck Drivers & Loader Operators to join our team this winter. Candidates for this position must be available November through April . We provide high-quality service, which calls for Team Members to be punctual and dependable in order for us to deliver the services we promise

Team Member Benefits :

Base pay of $15-$30 / hour, depending on experience Part-time or full time seasonal position with flexible scheduling to accommodate your availability.

Team Member Responsibilities:

Complete Safety Training and adhere to company safety policies. Learn and maintain a specific route of customer sites. Complete snow removal to customer specifications and quality standards. Remove snow using a snow plow and heavy equipment for several hours at a time, depending on the amount of snowfall. Be available each time it snows and report to a central location or directly to the jobsite. Remove snow in appropriate locations, avoiding piling it on trees, shrubs, fire hydrants, or sidewalks. Complete work safely and without accidents or incidents. Be aware of safety issues or concerns and report them to the appropriate Supervisor. Report any concerns or incidents to your direct Supervisor. Utilize effective communication for on-the-job issues that may arise and communicate with area supervisors via smartphone. Complete paperwork/job sheets detailing hours, activities, and materials accurately and in a timely manner after each snow removal operation. Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager.

Requirements:

18+ years of age Retirees welcome to apply Professional snow plowing experience preferred, but will train. Experience operating heavy equipment a plus Valid driver's license with no restrictions required ( under CDL ) Available for on-call work; flexible schedule for nights, days, holiday, and weekend work as needed Experience operating wheel loaders, skid steers, agricultural tractors, tractor- trailers, and bulldozers a plus, but not required Must have access to reliable transportation to and from work Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions including subfreezing temperatures and heavy precipitation
