In this energetic role, you will operate flatbed tow trucks to safely transport vehicles, assist stranded motorists, and ensure efficient cargo securement. Your mechanical knowledge and customer service skills will shine as you deliver prompt, professional service while maintaining safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team committed to helping drivers in need and keeping the roads safe. Duties Safely operate a flatbed tow truck, including manual transmission vehicles, to perform vehicle recoveries and towing services. Load and unload vehicles onto the flatbed using proper cargo securement protocols to prevent damage during transit. Follow all safety procedures related to vehicle loading, cargo securement, and safe driving practices for commercial truck driving. Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients, explaining services, and ensuring a positive experience. Maintain accurate logs of all towing activities, shift reports, incident documentation, and vehicle inspection records. Assist with vehicle recovery towing and mechanical repairs as needed to support fleet operations. Skills Proven experience in mechanic work with a solid mechanical knowledge base. Strong understanding of cargo securement protocols and safe vehicle loading onto tow trucks. Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety, conflict management, and adherence to traffic laws. Ability to load & unload vehicles efficiently while maintaining safety standards. Exceptional customer service skills combined with effective conflict management abilities for handling challenging situations professionally.
